A complete range of accommodation is available in Kenya ranging from 5 star luxury through good standard tourist hotels down to very basic hotels, guest houses and YMCA hostels.
Game lodges are usually well presented with good facilities.
Beach resort hotels range from fairly basic to very high standard with most offering swimming pools, water sports, entertainment etc.
All types of meals are available in the main centres. Many hotels and restaurants, even in the most remote places, serve some kind of western food. In the larger centres you can choose from African, European, Chinese, Indian etc.
Camping is possible in many areas and there are some extremely luxurious camping operators whose facilities rival even the best luxury hotels.
