Visa, Mastercard, Access, American Express and Diners Club are not accepted except in a one or two large hotels in Addis Ababa.

* Banking Hours:
0800 to 1200 and 1300 to 1700 Monday to Thursday. 0830 to 1130 and 1300 to 1700 Friday.

* Currency Restrictions:
Limited import and export of local currency, 100 Birr. No limit on the import of foreign currency; export of foreign currency up to the amount imported and declared, is not limited.
